Golden milk

This is a late night staple at our house. It’s inflammatory, soothing, and simply delicious before bed. I love using coconut milk as the fat helps absorb the turmeric’s healing compounds, but feel free to use any type of milk.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups of milk (dairy or dairy-free)

  • 1 tsp of ground turmeric

  • 1/4 tsp of ground cinnamon

  • Pinch of black pepper

  • 1 tbsp of maple syrup


Add all ingredients to a saucepan over medium heat and bring to a simmer. Simmer for 10 minutes.
